The ceremony of offering the gold medal “For the sake of community development” for enterprises, businessmen, artists, athletes, benefactors, organizations, individuals; who contribute to socio-economic and sport development of Vietnam; was held on July 09, 2004 in Hanoi. Present at the ceremony were Vice Minister Pham Gia Khiem, officials and representatives of related sector.
The gold medal “For the sake of community development” was the program which was co-ordinately selected by Vietnam Business Forum Magazine, Community Development Special Issue and Hanoi Culture Company. At the ceremony, 62 association and individuals including Vietnam Railway Corporation was offered the gold medal “For the sake of community development”. The efforts in improving transport quality, service quality, train-running safety, etc made by railway staffs in the past year were recognized.
On behalf of Vietnam Railway Corporation, Vice Director General Nguyen Dat Tuong was present at the ceremony to receive the gold medal “For the sake of community development”
